How it works

The Viper operates using a combination of Long-Range Locator and pulse induction technologies. The locator system utilizes an Intelligent Multi Transceiver Unit (IMTU) to send high-frequency electromagnetic waves that interact with buried metal targets, converting reflected signals into digital data. For closer, more precise pinpointing, the pulse induction system uses interchangeable coils to detect targets in mineralized ground, offering specific modes to distinguish between ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
