Review Transparency

Metal Detectors Direct uses customer reviews to help buyers evaluate expensive equipment. We want that feedback to be useful, traceable, and honest.

What counts as a customer review

Reviews shown as customer reviews should come from people who actually purchased or used the product in the way described. We do not create or publish fabricated customer reviews or AI-generated testimonials presented as real customer experiences.

Verified reviews

When Judge.me marks a review as verified, that status is generated through the platform's own review-request or verification process. We do not manually relabel unverified feedback as verified.

Photos and videos

Customers may optionally include photos or videos with an honest review. A review does not need to be positive. If customer media is reused outside the review widget, we request the appropriate usage permission first.

Manufacturer or supplier feedback

Manufacturer or supplier statements are not presented as verified Metal Detectors Direct customer reviews. If we reference manufacturer information, we identify it as manufacturer-supplied or manufacturer-stated.

AI-generated brand content

AI-assisted product demonstrations, educational visuals, or creator concepts are labeled as brand-created or illustrative content. They are not presented as organic customer testimonials.

Moderation

We do not remove a review merely because it is negative. Reviews may be moderated for spam, abuse, personal information, irrelevant content, or other content-policy reasons applied consistently.
