Metal Detectors Direct offers price matching on qualifying detector purchases from authorized U.S. dealers.
To request a price match, send us a link, screenshot, written quote, or invoice showing the lower advertised price before purchase when possible.
Eligibility
A price match may be considered when all of the following are true:
- The competing seller is an authorized U.S. dealer for the brand.
- The competing item is new, in stock, and available for immediate purchase.
- The competing item is the identical model and SKU, with the same standard package contents and warranty eligibility.
- The lower price is publicly available and can be verified by Metal Detectors Direct.
- The competing offer is in U.S. dollars and intended for shipment within the United States.
Exclusions
Price matching does not apply to:
- Marketplaces or auction sites, including eBay or similar third-party marketplace listings.
- Used, open-box, refurbished, demo, liquidation, clearance, damaged-box, or customer-return merchandise.
- Unauthorized dealers, gray-market sellers, private sellers, or overseas sellers.
- Coupons, rebates, financing incentives, loyalty rewards, bundles with materially different contents, or limited one-time promotions such as Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
- Pricing errors or offers that cannot be independently verified.
How We Compare Prices
We compare the total verified offer for the identical item, including required shipping charges but excluding sales tax. If package contents, warranty coverage, shipping terms, or model/SKU differ, the offer is not considered identical.
Approval
All price-match requests are reviewed individually and are subject to approval at Metal Detectors Direct's discretion. We may decline a request when the competing offer does not meet the requirements above, cannot be verified, conflicts with manufacturer pricing rules, or would result in an unsustainable loss.
