UIG searchcoil dd13

The UIG DD13 is a genuine DD-configuration search coil for UIG detectors. DD coils are the standard choice for difficult ground because the transmit and receive windings overlap, which gives a more even detection field and better stability in mineralized soil than a concentric coil of the same size.

Operators usually keep more than one coil for the same machine, using a smaller coil for trashy sites and a larger one for open ground and depth. Adding a second coil is almost always cheaper than adding a second detector.
