Genuine UIG magnetometer sensor for the Titan 1000 system. Magnetometer mode detects disturbances in the earth’s magnetic field caused by buried ferrous objects and man-made structures, which is why it is used for locating tombs, cavities, pipes and large iron targets rather than small surface coins.

Sensors are precision components and they are the part most likely to be put out of action by a knock or by moisture reaching a connector. Keeping a spare in the case means a damaged sensor costs you an hour rather than an entire expedition.
