The UIG DT11 is a genuine replacement search coil for UIG detectors. Coil choice has more effect on real-world performance than almost any other variable: a different coil changes how deep you can reach, how well the machine separates targets that sit close together, and how it behaves in mineralized ground.
Most experienced operators run at least two coils on the same detector, switching to a smaller one on trashy sites and a larger one for open ground and depth. It is usually the cheapest meaningful upgrade you can make to a machine you already own.
